The TMK Team was invited to  document and immortalize the first cruise of the most recent addition to the fleet of Paul Gauguin Cruises. The m/v Tere Moana, a small luxury cruise ship,  revealed its newest features to a chosen few during a week-long cruise in Caribbean waters.  Newly refurbished,  the former "Levant"  has been transformed into a sleek and sophisticated ship dedicated to exploring  tropical and temperate destinations, its reduced size enabling it to offer itineraries inaccessible to larger ships. The Tere Moana now offers 45 luxurious staterooms, a spa, an onboard water-sports marina as well as two high end restaurants and many other features.  After the Caribbean, cruises in Europe and Latin America are planned for this year.  Visit www.pgcruises.com for more information on dream destinations on intimate ships.  You can travel the world in the same unique way as on the the m/s Paul Gauguin  which continues its Pacific cruises in French Polynesia.  Here a few images of the Tere Moana to share with you.

New flooring, carpets, elegant new furniture, renovations throughout the ship provide a lighter, brighter feel. This renovation combined with the five-star service and the amazing environement of the Polynesian Isles makes this one of the world's most special and luxurious cruises.

The m/s Paul Gauguin was designed specifically to sail the shallow seas around Tahiti and French Polynesia, visiting small ports that larger ships can't enter and effortlessly blending into the stunning natural beauty of the South Seas.

FLEUR AUSTRALE

An exceptional experience is what Geraldine Danon, famous French actress and her husband Philipe Poupon, one of the world's best sailors are offering their children.  Onboard "Fleur Australe" they crossed the deadly North-West passage following in the steps of the great Pole explorers,  experiencing all the joys but also confronting all the dangers that in the past some defeated and some did not. The family finally rejoined the Pacific after months of navigation where Tim was lucky to follow them for one day crossing  from Tahiti to Moorea.  Geraldine's new book has just been released.  After "Une Fleur dans les glaces" relating the North to West pole adventure started in 2009, "Fleur Australe" is the second chapter of the 2010 Voyage that started in Alaska  descending through the Antarctic to the Pacific.  This voyage is sponsored by EDF-SUEZ  to raise awareness of the fragile nature of the Ocean's fauna and flora and the consequences of world pollution on the global environnement.  Read more and follow them on http://www.fleuraustrale.fr/projet.html
